We are partners with The Brooke House Football Academy based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, England. The Academy runs in tandem with Brooke House College where students from all over the world study pre university programmes such as the UK GCSE, two-year UK A Level subjects, or a one-year University Foundation Programme. These run in conjunction with football coaching and development sessions at the Academy which are held each morning; academic studies take place in the afternoon or evening. The College also runs intensive English courses and has Summer Schools each year.
As well as being at a high level for football, students that enrol at the prestigeous football academy must also meet the academic entry criteria for the course they wish to follow. The Academy regularly play in the national college league and also have games against the Academies at professional football clubs such as Newcastle United, Fulham and Manchester City and players are often out on trial at professional clubs.
The Academy is presently working with footballing bodies all over the world and takes players from a number of feeder academies such as the Pepsi Academy in Nigeria and the Darbi College in Bulgaria. MGH has recently assisted in setting up a link with the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and the academy will be taking students from 2014.
We assist in placing students at both the College and the Academy, help organise the Academy pre season training camp, and arrange games against professional football clubs in the UK; we are also presently engaged in discussions to set up a progression into the Swedish professional football league.
Feel free to contact us should you wish to enquire about places at the Academy or College, are interested in being a feeder academy, have an interest in offering trials to Academy players or any initiatives you may feel are of interest.
